Community Projects
Throughout the years our Climax interns have organized various Community Projects. In 2013, the interns coordinated and pursued multiple Projects. Here are the projects completed by our Climax interns!

Five Rock Ranch
Five Rock Ranch is a Christian organization that provides a haven for people who need a place to go in return for chores around the ranch. These people could be young adults living in abusive homes or any other various situations. The interns visited the ranch and volunteered their time clearing out and repainting a section of rundown rooms to serve as housing. Five Rock Ranch impacts so many people, and they do it without a lot of help. Their volunteered time and work was much appreciated by tenants and owners.

Senior Prom
The 2013 Climax Interns hosted a "prom" for senior citizens at the senior center in Newberg. They decorated and provided snacks and drinks. The interns also hired a DJ, got dressed up, and danced with the seniors. The objective was to give back to a sometimes overlooked group of our community and serve to better their wellness by giving them a fun way to get moving or socialize. This was the second year Climax interns hosted this event, and it was a total hit! The seniors loved it almost as much as the interns did.

Park Clean up
The interns visited Discover Meadows Park in McMinville and spent the morning pulling weeds and picking up trash. Their goal was to provide beautiful scenery for the community. They also helped expand the reach of the internship beyond Newberg as McMinville hosted some of Climax's interns.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Their mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope The 2013 Climax Intern Team worked on a home building project where they did actual construction to help a family in need.
